1. Who we are
PACE (Professional Association of Curators of Events) runs www.pacecg.com and organises Horizon 2026, the Events & Wedding Conclave held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on 7–9 October 2026. In this policy, "we", "us" and "PACE" mean the association. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, PACE is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect
- Details you give us when you contact us, register for Horizon 2026, apply for membership or ask to exhibit or partner. This can include your name, phone number, email, business or brand name, city and professional category (for example event planner, decorator, or sound and light).
- Event-day information, such as check-in records and badge details.
- Photos and video taken at the conclave (see section 6).
- Payment information, if you pay for a pass or membership online. Card and UPI details are handled by our payment providers, PayU and Cashfree, and we do not store them.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your questions and manage your registration, pass or membership.
- To send event updates such as schedules, venue details and changes.
- To run networking at the conclave, for example sharing your name and business with other attendees only if you have agreed to it.
- To send news about future PACE events, only with your consent. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Consent and withdrawal
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by writing to info@pacecg.com. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
5. Who we share it with
We share data only with:
- Venue, registration, communication and payment partners who help us run the event, and only as much as they need.
- Event sponsors or exhibitors, only if you have opted in to share your details with them.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
6. Photos and video at the conclave
Horizon 2026 will be photographed and filmed. We may use this footage on our website and social media and in future promotion of PACE. If you don't want to appear, please tell the registration desk or email us, and we will try to avoid featuring you and will remove identifiable images when you ask.
7. How long we keep it
We keep registration and contact data for as long as we need it for the event and for membership, and after that only as long as the law requires, for example for tax records. Then we delete it.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you can:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
- Raise a grievance with us.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
10. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we will notify you and the authorities of any personal data breach as the law requires.
11. Children
Our events are meant for professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 without a parent's or guardian's consent.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date.
